Images from Potato
Ben's first production on the professional stage was at Warwick Arts Centre in 2011. Potato was a newly written play by Tim Hodgson about the uncovering of a series of graves at an archeological dig site in Birmingham. The production was described as "a triumph" by the Hutton Inquiry (the review site not the committee). For the production 4 tonnes of earth were brought into the Studio space at the WAC in order to construct a full scale dig site complete with plantlife and coffins.
